On steep, west-facing slope overlooking floodplain along the Savannah River; area xeric and somewhat eroded. Site #12 (Lat. a^OS^O"; Long. 82037'12"), ca. 1.5 miles south of the S. C. 72 bridge over the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in the mid-1980's.
