SU 1/4 NU 1/4 SIO, T16S, R21U. steep narrow canyon with
shear cliff faces, talus slopes at the base leading to a
boulder creek bottoa. Rhyolite. Ranging froa ca. 5100-5400
feet. Uith !L_ hypoleucoides in canyon, Q¿. arizonica.
turbinella. Q¿. oaabellii at top, eaorvi at bottoa.
Intergrading (1101) with B. dunnii (1102).
This collection consists of three plants (A-C).
Astall tree; B=at lowest elevation (5100') on boulders
of Apache Creek, aoderate shade, with fl. eaoryi, fi.
grisea, Platanus; C=tall shrub, 12 ca DBH, ht. 2.5 a,
very shady, 5420*, on gravel and rock along Apache
Creek, v/ Juniperus aonosperaa, Quercus hypoleucoides,
Acer negundo; C=
