Floodplain along the Savannah River; alluvial forest. Site #75 (Lat. 34°09'50"; Long. 82o43'30"), ca. 0.5 mile east-northeast of junction of County Roads 252 and 254; ca. one mile south of confluence of Coldwater Creek and the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in the mid-1980's.
