Quer cus agrifolia Nee FAGACEAE Broad-crowned tree, branched from base, 50ft tall, each trunk diameter 1 ft, common. In a forest along a creek, in gravelly loam (Dibble silty clay loam, 30 to 50 percent slopes; fine, montmorillonitic, thermic Fluvaquentic Haploquolls). With Acer macrophyllum, Aesculus californica, Holodiscus discolor, Platanus racemosa, Quercus douglasii, Ramalina farinacea, R. menziesii, Sambucus sp., Symphoricarpos albus, Toxicodendron diversilobum and Umbellularia californica. South side of Marsh Creek, N. side of Morgan Territory Road. Contra Costa Co. Elev.
