Tree 7 m< high, J>0 cm in dm. , at edge of Dunkerque-Catherine mangrove, commune of Ste. Anne; arid zone. One of the four common mangrove trees, found on the landward margins; also found on spray-swept lava bluffs; and occasional on quiet
sandy beaches.
Deposited at the New York Botanical Garden to authenticate ecological studies of this West indian Island made during the summer of 1939.<<<OCR
