Sagebrush steppe hillsides. Scattered with Artemisia tridentata, Poa secunda, Leymus triticoides, Pseudoroegneria spicata, Koeleria pyramidata, Purshia tridentata, Gutierrezia, Astragalus spp. and Balsamorhiza sagittata. Pebbly soil.
