United States of America. Utah. Millard Co. 9.5 miles north, 23.5 miles east of Garrison. (23.75 raodmiles east of jct. with Highway 159 on Highways 50/6, then 0.75 mile south on two-track to site.) Confusion Range, south side of Kings Canyon.

Habitat
Rocky, windswept rabbitbrush-grassland on steep, primarily N-facing slope. Usually near Chrysothamnus or Stenotus; Scattered pinyon and juniper. Scattered. Sevy dolomite surfacing.

Description
Bract and calyx bright pink distally, greenish red proximally. Corolla yellowish green; upper lobe with a pink margin (one plant with a white spike). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
