About 50 m north of Crystal Lake (Lake St. in DeWitt), at a point about 2 mi. west of intersection with US-61 and about 70 m east of a small creek (outflow from Crystal Lake). Scattered small trees in old field, this one about 14 m X 45 cm. Bark light gray-brown, deeply ridged, somewhat soft and flaky.
