MADISON COUNTY Southwest side of US Route 431, about 0.5 mile east of the Flint River, just east of large warehouses in wet hardwood floodplain forest remnant, southeast of Huntsville. Wet clay.
Shaded floodplain forest. Common tree about 10 meters tall; many with gall wasps in leaves. Leaves immature.
