SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Sect. 20. West of Burlington Northern railroad, 0.5 mile east of Herrin, Paineville. North right-of-way of East Herrin Road. Elevation 390-400 feet; Herrin 7.5’ quadrangle. Sandy loam, level and poorly drained.
Open shrubland and flatwoods remnant dominated by Acer rubrum, Cornus drummondii, Quercus palustris. Rather common tree about 10-15 meters tall.
