Quercus pumila Walter
Liberty County: clonal shrub to ca 2 m high, the site apparently not burned in several years. Brushy mixture of this and Pinus echinata, P. taeda, Quercus nigra, Q. hemis-phaerica, Q. margaretta, incana, Rhus copallina, Myrica cerifera, Vaccinium elliottii, Aristida stricta the dominant herb.
