Location: NV, Humboldt Co., 6.4 km S. of Sonoma Peak
in the central Sonoma Range, SW% of SEh of Sec. 20,
T34N, R39E, on divide between upper forks of Clear Creek.
Habitat: Scattered on exposed wind-swept ridge of pillow lava
greenstone with Eriogonum anemophilum and E. umbellatum
in Artemisia-Chrysothamnus.
Comments: Bracts orange; foliage yellow-green.
