Canada. British Columbia. Rocky Mountains, southwest slope of Selwyn Range, east side of Kinbasket Lake; On south side of Bulldog Creek, just east of crossing of road along lake.

Habitat
On north facing cliff face of acidic to circum-neutral rock. In Thuja plicata-Pseudotsuga menziesii-Picea-Abies forest; Timmia, Metaneckera, Antitrichia, and Hypnum spp. common on cliff side.
