United States of America. South Carolina. Chester Co. "Big Sky Prairie", from the junction of SC-909/S-12-14 and SC-9, go 1.9 miles west on SC-9 and turn left onto Turners Lane, site is on both sides of Turners Lane, on about 300 acers.

Habitat
open, with scattered red cedar. shrub layer is dominated by Rubus spp. and Symphoricarpos orbiculatus; grasses and forbs are a mixture of weedy and native pairie-associated species (area was until recently used as a dairy farm).
