Description
Shrub. Pedicels and calyx green. Corolla scarlet with lobes indigo to black; corolla sometimes peach colored, and the lobes vinaceous with indigo hues; extremely fleshy, terete, campanulate with lobes curving outwards. Pedicels apically white and fleshy when in fruit. Fruits terete, depressed, white; seeds undeveloped, brown.
