More or less dry, calcereous soil, full sunlight.
Woody, shrublike plant, 1 m high. Stems green with small black glands (also on petioles, leaves and calyx). Leaves dark green, lower side paler, veines pale at the lower side. Calyx thin, greenish; corolla pale yellow with small brown glandular dots; filaments and pistil pale yellow; anthers yellow.
