Leon County: Specimen residual in an upland
area mostly cleared of trees in making a park
that surrounds Capital Stadium, Tallahassee.
Tree with a relatively short but large trunk,
the bark dark, hard, prominently ridged and
grooved,, the crown formed by large spreading
limbs, one of which has its branches touching
the ground.
