(19°13'30"N, 98°57'49"W.) Elev. 2250 m. Soil: alkaline, pH 7.9 to 8.7; high organic content. Climate: subhumid, mean ann. rainfall of 600 to 700 mm, mostly in the summer; mean ann. temp. 12° to 18° C. Growing with P. philadelphica, but more mature and with smaller fruit. Juan J.
