19°34'N, 97°14'W	alt. 2400 m.
Ruderals on flat plateau, now very dry and most annual plants frosted and dried up. Annual herbs, viscid, fetid, with smell of Polanisia dodecandra; much-branched, to 5 dm tall, 1 m. wide, mostly only fruiting now. Corolla pale yellow with 5 dark green spots; filaments blue; anthers blue-green. Fruiting calyx green with purple veins, 5-angled, hanging, the older calyces fading to pale green and ±skeletonized, apparently chewed open by small animals and fruits opened partially leaving some light brown seeds in shell of nearly dry fruit; fruit at first dark purple.
