Location
Guyana. Kako River vicinity, above Kako village, near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534 m, N 5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). Adjacent to savanna collected on July 1, but separated by a creek and scrub buffer.

Habitat
Brocchina and Stegolepis savanna with drier shrub islands around rock outcrops.

Description
Shrub to 0.5 m. Leaves ascending. Branchlets and rachis burgundy-pink. Inflorescence terminal, paniculate, rachis pink. Calyx green; corolla white, center suffused with pink; filaments pink; anthers white. Fruit a fleshy purple capsule. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
