BOSQUE CADUCIFOLIO. Pastured slopes on limestone, much disturbed, with some patches of forest and secondary growth, Liquidambar macrophylla, Quercus and some Pinus pseudostrobus.
Herb, creeping and rooting, forming a patch 1.5 m. in diameter. Corolla yellow, with 5 dark purple-brown spots; anthers blue; fruiting calyx terete.
