Mpio. Santa Elena: 0.55 km SW of entrance road to Kabah archaeological site on Hwy 261, between Hopelchön and Merida. (Near 89° 40' W, 20° 15'N.) Elev. 100 m. Tropical deciduous forest and disturbed roadedge. An uncommon perennial; fls. greenish-yellow with a brown blotch at the base of each corolla lobe, anthers yellowish-white.
