Virginia groundcherry, from "prairie-like" edge of logging road, 0.2 mi E of Vicetown Road, S of Crane Hollow. With Onosmodium molie ssp. occidentale. Calyx five-angled, with deeply sunken base. Hairs on pedicel a conbination of short retrorse, and jointed, longer, spreading, multicellular ones.
