Chain-O-Lakes State Park: northeast end of Turner Lake. Fox Lake 7.5 min. quadrangle. Elevation 751 feet. Glacial ridge in till; sand, gravel, humus.
Mesic upland forest, at northeast margin of prairie fen. Occasional tree 10 meter tall near base of low ridge.[Q. ellipsoidalis X Q. velutina ]
