Flat open grazed areas behind the beach of Laguna Superior south
of Juchitin, near the village of Xandani; vegetation mainly thorny
leguminous shrubs; elevation 10 m. or less.
Fairly common; a shrub about 2m. tall;
sandy soil; fruit red, flowers lavender.
