Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Leptospermum, Eucalyptus. Subcespitose. On sand.

Description
Pileus 2-4.5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, glabrous to extremely finely matted, yellow (3A5,4) at first and when covered with sand, reddish orange when exposed (7C7), with even margin. Flesh yellow (2A4), unchanging when exposed, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, grayish yellow (2B5), becoming mustard yellow (3B6,5,4), unchanging, with pores rarely with a bit of light brown (near margin of pileus), unchanging. Stipe 4-6 cm long, 7-9 mm broad, strict or slightly curved, dry, pinkish red to sometimes yellow above, yellow downward, granulose to subscabrous, with ornamentation light brown and dense above, more scattered below, with base lightly olive, with interior light yellow throughout, unchanging.
