Next to dirt road on claysoil in a rooi. Herb, voluble, up to 5 m long. Stem pale green with dark purplish areas, densely covered with pale brown hairs. Leaf green, indûment white. Bracts pale green. Calyx pale green, towards the apex sometimes becoming purplish, indûment pale brown. Corolla white. Filaments white. Anthers cream. Stigma and style white. Centre of flower pale green-cream.
