Thin soil over dolomite bedrock.
Mixed old field - dolomite prairie with many exotic
grasses. Local shrub, apparently rhizomatous, about 1
meter tall, flowers mostly pendulous, pale lilac purple.
Probably persistent from cultivation at old house site.
