Approximately 0.6 miles west as the crow flies from Highway 188 bridge in Slate Creek, in creekbed, roughly paralleling old FS 26. In small area of barren creekbed. UTM12S 469676E 3755677N Elevation 2494ft. 760m. Habitat: Upland Sonoran desertscrub riparian area; very silty-sandy creekbed, with large cobbles.
