at Camino del Diablo, bottom of Lechuguilla Valley, SE of Tinajas
Altas.
(NAD 83) 32° 17.315’N, 113° 58.792’W; 1010 ft.
Associated species: Larrea, Prosopis glandulosa (shrubs and small
trees), Lyciumparishii, L. macrodon, Atiplex polycarpa, Ambrosia
dumosa, A. ambrosioides, Encelia farinosa, E. frutescens and near
100% cover of ephemerals.
Lowest point on Camino crossing, there is sheet flow here in the
valley bottom but no wash (erosion) has formed.
Some plants near roadside are more than 1 m tall and bushy;
herbage stinky; corollas white.
