University of Arizona Herbarium (ARIZ) Plants of Arizona Datura discolor Bemh. Yuma County. Barry M. Goldwater Military Range, Coyote “Wash at Camino del Diablo, bottom of Lechuguilla Valley, SE of Tinajas Altas. (NAD 83) 32° 17.315’N, 113° 58.792’W; 1010 ft. Associated species: Larrea, Prosopis glandulosa (shrubs and small trees), Lyciumparishii, L. macrodon, Atiplex polycarpa, Ambrosia dumosa, A. ambrosioides, Encelia farinosa, E. frutescens and near 100% cover of ephemerals. Lowest point on Camino crossing, there is sheet flow here in the valley bottom but no wash (erosion) has formed.
