Small size plants, on dry gray rocky soil, on the east side
of the dirt road, about 50 yards north of the Pacific Crest
Trail, on Bunker Hill Ridge, about 1 mile (air) southeast
of Pilot Peak, about 9 miles (air) northeast of La Porte.
Common. Flowers pale yellow. Red Fir Forest.
