SELVA ALTA PERENNIFOLIA. Very flat area, now mostly
planted to sugar cane, with brushy patches and fence-
rows.
Common. Twining vine to several meters. Flowers
odorless (afternoon), becoming strongly spicy-fragrant
at night; corolla yellow-green with purple on outside.
