MEXICO: Edo. de Jalisco Reserva Biosfera Sierra de Manantlan Cestrum g landul if erum Francey (Solanac.) Tree, 11.5 cm d.b.h.; firs, greenish-white, drying yellowish when fallen or pressed. Humid tropical semideciduous forest (bosque tropical subcaducifolio perturbado) in bottom of deep valley along stream, dominated by giant Moraceae (Ficus glabrata, Bros im urn alicastrum, Cecropia obtusifolia) , Hura polyandra, Annona purpurea, Couepia polyandra, Lonchocarpus, and Inga, with Dendropanax arboreus. Mostly trailside and edge spp. collected: Des- modium skinneri var. flavovirens, Aristolochia taliscana, Lopezia semeiandra, Heteropteris laurifolia, Calea urticifolia, Cayaponia sp. Upper stretch of well used trail in area called "El Parotal" 3-4 km SE of Casimiro Castillo in ARROYO TACUBAYA, at base of Cerro La Petaca, ca. 20 km SSW of Autlan. Alt. 660-700 m.
