    Dry sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Leptospermum, Melaleuca, Allocasuarina. Gregarious. In sand.

  • Description

    Pileus 3.5-4 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, matted, light grayish brown to light brownish gray with pink undertones or rarely with more pronounced pink. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes deeply adnexed, pinkish brown, with pores staining light brown. Stipe 3-7 cm long, 7-10 mm broad, equal and with a taper at base, dry, white, chrome yellow at base, decorated with a fine pink reticulum on which fine pink scabers reside, with interior white unchanging, chrome yellow in base with subtle pale greenish oxidation just above yellow base.
