1- to 5-flowered; pedicels 15-20 mm. long and slightly thickened, recurved in fruit ; sepals suboqual. greenish, puberulent, searious-margined. ovate, acute, 5-G mm. long; corolla yellowish with a magenta base, funnelform, about i cm. long, the sub-entire ^imb as broad; capsules ovoid, acute, about 12 mm. long. 2-ceiled; seeds
glabrous.

Apparently differing from I. obscura Æer. only by its larger sepals and ^
corolla of a more decided yellow.
