Bosque caducifolio. Rich forest, undisturbed, with many species also of the Selva Alta Perennifolia which covers the lower slopes.

Small tree. Peduncle and pedicel red-purple when mature, green at first; fruit bright white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
