Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. There appears to be only one road which leads to the city of Maroa, which connects Rio Temi (a tributary of Rio Atabapo) and Rio Guainia (at Maroa). Georeferenced to the approximate geographic midpoint of this unnamed road in Maroa, Amazonas, Venezuela. Used Google Maps - Earth View and Bing Maps - Aerial View to locate this road. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the beginning of this road at Maroa to the end of this road at Yavita, then halved this distance to find the midpoint of this line. Chose a point along the road nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic midpoint of the road. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest point of the road. Input coordinates, linear extent (13440.0 m), and measurement error (10 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
