Habitat
With water worn horizontally bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, exposed rock with waterfall. Vegetation open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas.

Description
Fleshy herb with spreading to erect stems to 40cm. Leaves fleshy dark glossy green above, paler beneath. Bracteoles pale green. Petals dark yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
