Guyana. Near fieldstation of Tropenbos ecological reserve, 15 km S of Mabura.

Habitat
Secondary vegetation on laterite soil.

Description
Shrub of 2 m tall creeping somewhat on the ground. Flowers white with a strong smell only flowering for one day. A great number of different stingless bees was found mostly buzz pollination to gather pollen. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
