Description
Shrub 10 ft. tall; leaves firmly membraneous, dark green above, buff-brown beneath with prominent raised nerves; calyx-tube gray-green; pedicel buff-gray; petals white with dull rose at base; filaments brick-red; anthers curved brick-red above, golden beneath; fruiting calyx becoming purplish with dull green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
