Habitat

High 'mata de cipo" forest, mixed deciduous and evergreen trees and dense understory on deep loamy soil.
Description

Shrub to 3 m. Leaves slightly bullate, dark geren above, grey-green beneath. Spike pale green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
