Mixed restinga, mainly high restinga on drier ground with areas of normally wet sedge meadow.

Description
Scarcely woody plant to 2 m. with mid-green slightly fleshy leaves. Stems green, peduncles and petioles red-tinged. Spikes rigid, green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
