LOCALITY: Provincia de Matanzas: between La Criolla and El Mais, ca. 4 km from Playa Larga along road to St. Thomas.
HABITAT: Semi-deciduous forest, 15-20 m tall.
DESCRIPTION: Tree, 8 m tall; leaves fragrant; flowers white.
