On salina-soil in full daylight.
Herb, lignifying, up to 60 cm high. Stem both erect as well as long procumbent with erect shoots. Leaf succulent, yellow-green, in cross section rounded, triangular. Twig pale brown at the base, towards the top becoming yellow-green. Female flower on a thickened spike-like stalk. Stigma pale green with white indûment. Fruit yellow-green, dried brown-grey.
