Notes:
Small low-branching tree to 5 m height. Outer bark smooth grey with fine vertical fissures. Slash thin, hard, very fine fibrous, green outer layer then orange, sapwood streaked orange.
Leaves: young leaves papery, older leaves slightly plasticy and brittle; no smell when crushed; upper surface - midrib yellower, slightly prominent; lower surface - several parallel laterals visible; covered in mealy bugs. Inflorescence buds visible.
Common, scattered in highly degraded coastal scrub woodland or coastal thicket.
