Habitat
Undisturbed forest. Terra firme; hills 30-50m high, red clay soil. Forest 30-40m tall with open canopy.

Description
Tree of 20m. Leaves clustered at branch tips. Fruit ovate with peduncle attached to one side. Fruits in axillary clusters. Clear resin from cut stems and twigs, pleasant turpentine odor.
