Habitat
In secondary Wallaba forest on white sand, with Eperua falcata [soft wallaba] and Catostemma fragrans [sand baromali].

Description
Tree, 8-10m. high, dbh ca. 25 cm., bole much branched, branches erect. Base somewhat swollen, with surface roots; roots ca.1.5 m. long, 20 cm. wide. Bark grey-brown to red brown, lenticillate. [See label for further plant description. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
