Tskaltubo, village Tskhunkuri, roadside, ca. 42°22'59 N,
42°33'385 E, ca. 183 m. (coordinates from hand-held GPS,
accurate to within a radius of about 50 m). Corylus avellana,
Ruscus colchicus, Castanea sativa, Diospiros lotus.
Short rhizomatous perennial with tufted leaves; rhizome
slender, dark brown and scaly. Leaves up to 70 cm long. The
lowest pair of leaflets often forked; stalk slender, pale brown,
erect.
