The Republic of Georgia. Borjomi district. Bakuriani; near
the country road of Tsikhisdjvari-Kodiana, ca. 41°42'98 N,
43°25'77 E, ca. 1730 m. (coordinates from hand-held GPS,
accurate to within a radius of about 50 m). Deciduous forest;
Alnetum; Pyrus caucasica, Alnus barbata, Dryopteris
carthusiana, Dryopteris filix-max.
Plant up to 80 cm. Frond lanceolate, petiole 2-15 cm, main
rachis densely clothed with brown lanceolate scales: Lamina
lanceolate, 2 pinnate, pinnules up to 40 on each side, rather
rectangular, softly hairy above, sessile to subsessile, margin
serrate.
