Puerto Rico. Municipio Mayagiiez: Barrio Quebrada Grande, Rt. 349 at km. 6 heading east from Mayagiiez. 18°10’N, 67°05’W. ca. 325 m. Roadside. Rolling hills with some steep slopes, mostly planted for ornament, coffee, or beans. Growing with Mangifera, Neolaugeria, Mimosa, Syzygium, Gleichenia, Ilex, Clusia, Pouteria.
Tree, 2 m tall; leaves shiny and sticky. Samples collected: leaf+twig; stem + root.
